Violin Teaching in Sanggar Merah Putih: Case Study of Budi Yuntono's Teaching Style

The purpose of this study is to find out how the teaching style used by Sanggar Merah Putih. uniqueness sanggar that it uses traditional on musical instruments originating from western, namely violin. research method a qualitative with case approach. data search for study, researchers made observations, literature studies, documentation, and also interviews several speakers including teachers students at Putih which were carried offline online. results obtained in applied methods, oral demonstrations, imitations its teaching. applies technique memorizing notation songs instead reading notation. Teachers use number solmization their teaching, using block note scores as violin general. With techniques methods like this, able make children faster master instruments. plays many various genres, ranging songs, Country, Irish, Pop, others.
